JOB DESCRIPTION

ABOUT EVERYBODY VOTES CAMPAIGN

Everybody Votes Campaign (EVC) is a national non-partisan, not-for-profit hiring staff for a large-scale coordinated civic engagement campaign active through the 2024 election cycle. The campaign aims to create a more representative democracy by registering millions of underrepresented voters across the country. This effort focuses on voter registration in a targeted fashion by conducting at-scale, effective, efficient, metrics-driven registration work. Through this work, we seek to fundamentally change the make-up of the electorate and to increase the political power of traditionally underrepresented communities in our democracy.

We directly fund organizations who execute voter registration and run quality control operations. We are dedicated to being active participants with the organizations to ensure their programs are effective and promote an investment in the future of emerging communities.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The campaign seeks a field staffer with one to two cycles of experience to work under the Texas State Director by serving as the Program Coordinator. This individual will provide direct assistance to the Texas State Director as they support partner programs within EVC’s Texas Program. This will include developing, deploying, and maintaining templates, spreadsheets, and other resources; conducting daily data updates from states; communicating with state partners to ensure necessary reports and documents are submitted, and working with members of other EVC departments as it relates to Texas partner programs.

This position requires knowledge of field programs, a strong set of organizational skills, and a high degree of attention to detail.

  • Managing the distribution, tracking and completion of surveys and any administrative work associated with it.

  • Compiling weekly reports for distribution by the State Director to members of the leadership team.
