Safeguarding American Values for Everyone (SAVE) is seeking a passionate and organized Voter Contact Organizer to join our team! In this fast-paced, temporary full-time role, you will play a critical role in maximizing voter outreach and education efforts. This position will begin on July 1 and end November 12,2024.
Responsibilities:
Direct Voter Contact:
Conduct phone banking and canvassing to connect with voters on key issues.
Provide accurate and informative responses to voter questions about SAVE's mission and candidates we support.
Volunteer Training & Development:
Lead engaging and informative volunteer training sessions on phone banking, canvassing, and voter information.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to volunteers throughout the campaign season.
Data & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of voter outreach activities and volunteer engagement.
Assist with data analysis to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Prepare regular reports for the Field Director on voter contact efforts.
Teamwork & Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with other organizers, campaign staff, and volunteers to achieve shared goals.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment.
Attend all required staff meetings and trainings.
Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience with voter outreach methods, such as phone banking and canvassing, is preferred.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficient in using voter contact software and data management tools a plus.
A passion for SAVE's mission and a commitment to increasing voter participation.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, during peak campaign periods.
Compensation:
Salary is $55,000 annually.
