We are looking for Voter Contact Organizers ** **to build support in the community for our endorsed Working Class candidate for Senate in Nebraska’s upcoming election. If you believe that real political power is built from the ground up through deep organizing and face-to-face conversations, we want you on our team in the following cities:

Position Overview

The Voter Contact Organizer will be the primary point of contact for voters in the community, both in a local office, and at voters’ doors. You’ll be working to get out the vote for the pro-worker candidate ahead of the November election. You will be knocking on doors, recruiting volunteers and some paid canvassers to reach even more voters, and persuading voters to vote for our candidate.

Key Responsibilities

●  **Direct voter contact: **meeting voters where they’re at, in the community and at their doors.

●  Representing the cause: you’ll be the face of the working class majority in your city; and you’ll have an open door to voters with questions and concerns.

●  **Community empowerment: **help your neighbors get active and engaged ahead of the November election.

●  **Reporting and tracking: **you’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate reporting on your voter interactions and those of your volunteer/canvasser team, to help the larger campaign hit its goals.

Qualifications

●  Good at talking to your neighbors.

●  Mission Alignment: A deep commitment to economic populism, union labor, and anti-establishment grassroots organizing.

●  Logistics: Must LIVE IN, or be willing to relocate to the city you are applying for. Must possess a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a laptop.

●  Technical Proficiency: Some knowledge of NGP VAN, MiniVAN, and managing voter data systems preferred.
