About the Organization:
The Asian American Community Fund of PA (AACFPA) is the first-ever statewide nonpartisan civic engagement organization directly advocating for the needs of Asian Pacific Islanders in PA. Built by Asian American community leaders across the state with a collective 50 years of experience advocating for our people, we build long-term power and win justice for our communities.
The AAPI PA Power Caucus, a project of the Asian American Community Fund of PA, is the first and only statewide Asian American civic engagement and powerbuilding coalition in Pennsylvania. Formed in 2019 as a nonpartisan 501c3 table, now comprised of 20 Asian American nonprofits representing Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, South Asian, Muslim, Filipino, and LGBTQ+ organizations, we have since been building our collective power and developing our API Platform for PA.
This position is shared with our sibling entity, the Asian Pacific Islander Political Alliance (API PA), a separate 501(c)4, to whom the employee may also report and provide services consistent with the below duties on occasion.
The **Voter Registration Manager **reports directly to the Community Fund’s Voter Registration Director in implementing the strategy and program management of the Community Fund’s and API PA’s overall voter registration work. This includes working with the Voter Registration Director, Community Fund Program Manager, and API PA staff to build relationships with Power Caucus member leaders and API PA field and organizing staff, and coordinating voter registration strategies and tactics of Caucus members, non-Caucus API organizations, and API PA’s field and organizing staff to reach their VR field goals. Responsibilities:

Implement the overall VR workplan across our ecosystem, including tracking VR goals, timelines, strategies, tactics, and evaluation across all c3 and c4 entities.
Implement robust Quality Control (QC) processes on voter registrations to ensure accurate and timely submission.
Attend Power Caucus field subcommittee meetings to coordinate VR activities; follow up 1-on-1 with leaders as needed to finalize logistics such as dates/times, attendance, and phonebank lists.
Supervise, coordinate, and actively manage AACFPA voter registration canvassers, including:
Participating in recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training processes.
Creating and maintaining canvasser schedules.
Monitoring daily performance and goal progress, including canvassers’ data submissions.
Providing direct, supportive, and corrective feedback to ensure canvass quality and effectiveness.
Conducting regular check-ins, team meetings, and performance evaluations.
Ensuring canvassers adhere to scripts, safety protocols, and compliance guidelines.
Deliver trainings and educational materials (templates, raps, presentations, tech support documents) to support field staff and member organization leaders in effectively meeting voter registration goals.
Attend VR events and canvassing activities as needed, with an emphasis on working with the Community Fund Program Manager on Unity Grants program implementation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with coordinating a voter registration program: drafting scripts; coordinating events and canvass programs; supporting on logistics and materials; running trainings and debriefs; implementing a robust quality control (QC) process to ensure voter registrations are completed accurately and submitted on time.
1-3 years of experience working in a nonprofit organization or personal experience organizing in Asian American communities
Demonstrated experience with facilitation and training related to VR programs over a year or one election cycle
Excellent listening, verbal, and writing communication skills
Commitment to social and economic justice, and knowledge of issues affecting Asian American communities in Pennsylvania
Google Suite (Docs and Sheets) proficiency is required
Work Environment / Physical Demands:
This position is on-site in Philadelphia with travel required within Pennsylvania for in-person events and meetings regularly.

Employment Terms:
This position is a ** full-time, 40-hours-per-week, nonexempt role with an estimated salary range of $53,000 to $58,000 annually, depending on experience. **Overtime is compensated according to applicable state and federal labor laws.
