Role Overview:
As a Senior Web Developer, you will lead the development of web applications, game-related portals, and online services. You will work closely with game designers, backend developers, and other teams to create seamless, scalable, and high-performance web experiences for our players.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain responsive and interactive web applications for gaming platforms.
Collaborate with game designers, backend engineers, and UI/UX designers to implement features that enhance player experience.
Optimize web applications for performance, scalability, and security.
Integrate APIs, microservices, and third-party tools into web systems.
Mentor and guide junior web developers, conducting code reviews and enforcing best practices.
Participate in architectural decisions and recommend technologies to improve the tech stack.
Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
Monitor and troubleshoot web applications and server-side integrations.
Stay updated on web technologies, trends, and best practices relevant to the gaming industry.
Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of professional web development experience.
Strong proficiency in ** JavaScript**,** TypeScript**,** HTML5**,** CSS3**, and modern frameworks like** React**,** Vue**, or** Angular**.
Experience with ** Node.js**,** Express**, or similar backend technologies.
Strong understanding of ** RESTful APIs**,** GraphQL**, and WebSocket communication.
Experience with databases: SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
Knowledge of ** CI/CD pipelines**, version control (Git), and agile development processes.
Understanding of performance optimization, caching, and security best practices.
Experience with game-related web services, such as leaderboards, matchmaking portals, or game stats dashboards, is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
