We also will accept applications from High School Students located in Colorado's 8th Congressional District.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Location: Your College Campus (Remote/On-Campus)  

Commitment: 6 hours per week  

Duration: Starting ASAP through Election Day (November 5, 2024)

 

About the Role:

As a Campus Ambassador, you’ll be a vital part of Yadira Caraveo’s grassroots efforts to engage young voters on your campus. You’ll serve as the campaign’s representative, spreading the word about Yadira’s vision, engaging students, and mobilizing support. This is an incredible opportunity to develop campaign skills, build your network, and make a tangible impact on the future of your community.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Outreach & Engagement: Build relationships with fellow students to raise awareness about Yadira Caraveo’s platform and why voting is crucial for the upcoming election.

- Volunteer Recruitment: Recruit and coordinate volunteers on campus for campaign activities, including canvassing, phone banking, and events.

- Event Organizing: Plan and host events such as informational sessions, volunteer recruitment events, and visibility events to promote Yadira’s campaign and engage new voters.

- Phone Banking: Organize and participate in phone banking efforts to mobilize supporters and remind students to vote.

- High-Traffic Canvassing: Engage students in high-traffic areas on campus, distributing campaign literature and speaking to voters directly about the importance of supporting Yadira Caraveo.

Qualifications:

- Passion for electing democrats and making a difference.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and engage peers.

- Self-starter who can take initiative and manage time effectively.

- Active presence on campus and familiarity with student organizations is a plus.

- Previous campaign experience is a bonus, but not required.
